I hear often how my blog is missed. I didn’t realize how many people read it and enjoyed it. I make no promises, but I will try to post every once in a while. It won’t be as fluff-y because I do work full time and have many other things going on besides, but I still love looking through magazines and helping people with their homes.
My services have changed. I just can’t, really can’t, decorate for people anymore. It was hard to give that up, it took me six months of working full time AND trying to be Superwoman before I finally had to say that something just had to give.
I do, however, still offer consults. It keeps my toes in the water and it’s so fun to help people out with their homes. I just came home from a consult and drove home all smiles. I felt tired all day, but after an hour and a half with my client, I felt energized and happy.
We have moved again, bought a new house and moved in on Dec. 31. It’s not terribly exciting in design, your basic ranch… but Dave and I see something else, and we’ve already started on it. I hope to take some photos this weekend of where we started and where we are now to show you.
But for now, it’s time to make dinner, and sit outside on our deck with a cool glass of wine.
